The North East Essex Badger Group is a voluntary organisation dependant on it’s members subscriptions, fundraising and individual donations to finance the running of the group and to enable us to continue protecting vulnerable badgers and their setts in North East Essex.

You can join our group as an active member or just as a supporter.  ‘Active’ membership simply means you would be willing to participate in some of our activities.  No-one is expected to do everything – just as much or as little as you can or wish to.

Remember Us In Your Will

The Group has been lucky enough to receive donations from Wills in the past.  All such donations are gratefully received and wisely used.  For instance, the hide was paid for, and is maintained thanks to a legacy.  Laptops and screens were purchased to enable us to modernise our presentations and substantial rescue equipment provided to those members who are willing to turn out at all hours to help injured and sick badgers. We have been able to pass on some of the donations to Secret World and Badger Trust to enable both organisations to continue their good work.  If you are considering making or altering your Will to include a donation to the NEEBG, please consult your solicitor.  Of course, should you prefer that any donation remains within North East Essex, please make those wishes clear and they will be respected.
